Drosera roseana

Western Australia

Plants

Flowers

D. roseana has very small white flowers. They are 8 millimetres in diameter and last for about 3 days each. Each flower contains 3 fuzzy white stigmas and 5 stamens that have a white filament and yellow anthers. The sepals are quite long and thin and are retracted slightly downwards when the flower is open. The edges of the sepals are irregular in shape.

The pedicle is about the same length as the flower buds. The flower stalk is barely 1,5 cm (0,6 inches) and is covered in hairs without glands.
